CUXAUS is a regional emigration database. Approximately 6,000 records from emigrants of today’s district Cuxhaven for the period between about 1830 and 1930 are available – almost all of them imply the destination New York. In the future, CUXAUS will be expanded by further sources and records. You can find information about sources, structure, usage and about the records within the help texts. Being a pilot project, CUXAUS-Online is still in a testing phase. You can receive additional information about this from the persons mentioned below.
